Canadian Magen David Adom was happy to present the President of the State of Israel, Reuven Rivlin with a Mobile Intensive Care Unit in memory of his late wife Nechama in Tel Aviv. May her memory be a blessing.
The upgraded MICU, is operated by senior MDA paramedics along with doctors from Ichilov Hospital.
The advanced MICU, which will help save lives, was dedicated in memory of the late Mrs Nechama Rivlin, who passed away about three months ago. Israel's First Lady and the Rivlin family were always part of the life-saving work of Magen David Adom.
In addition to the advanced medical equipment and medications that are available in every MDA intensive care unit, the new vehicle will also have additional medications and equipment, such as ultrasound, blood tests device, chest drainage and more.
